24 oz Lamagna Ricotta
8 oz mascarpone
1/3 C powdered sugar (confectioners)
1 T vanilla
mini chocolate chips (milk or dark)
Drain excess moisture from Lamagna Ricotta.
Mix together: Lamagna Ricotta, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
Purchase cannoli shells from your favorite grocer (larger or mini shells).
Spoon cheese mix into a pastry bag, or a plastic baggie. If using a baggie, then cut corner of bag. Pipe cheese mix into cannoli shell.
Dip cannoli ends into you favorite topping: Chopped pistachios, mini chocolate chips, candied fruit, etc.
Dust filled cannoli’s with powdered sugar.
For best results, fill cannoli’s immediately before serving.
Optional: Add cocoa (powdered Chocolate) to cheese mix for chocolate filling.
Makes approximately 14 large cannoli’s or 30 mini cannoli’s.
